CADParts & Consulting LLC offers in-house hardware functional testing. In contrast to In-Circuit Testing (ICT) which verifies the proper operation of each component, functional testing verifies the performance of an entire circuit board, sub-assembly or a system under operating conditions

Functional Testing may be performed in a test fixture or in a model of your system. Test fixtures and functional test procedures can be supplied by the customer or developed by CADParts & Consulting LLC.

In large, complex systems, functional testing is an excellent compliment to ICT. For prototypes or small production runs, functional testing may be used as an alternative to ICT as it often requires less tooling capital.
