Develop and maintain electrical CAD symbols and footprints using a variety of popular CAD tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design land pattern geometries (footprints) and schematic symbols for Printed Circuit boards or specific customer standards
• Create / Maintain Logic and Footprint symbol libraries for both in-house and external customers
• Develop and maintain padstack libraries
• Other duties as assigned by the Senior CAD Librarian

SKILLS

• Fast learner with an interest in mechanical and electrical design
• Excellent internet research capabilities
• Experience and/or training in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Tools such as OrCAD or AutoCad a Plus
• Knowledge of MS-Office tools such as MS-Word, MS-Excel, Visio

 EDUCATION and/or RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• Associates degree or technical schooling in electronics field and/or CAD a plus
